What is a repair sleeve?

Repair sleeves are heat-shrinkable sleeves that are placed over damaged cable areas and permanently fixed by heating. During shrinking, the sleeve adapts exactly to the substrate, fills small unevenness and fully restores the protection. The inner adhesive, which melts during shrinking and additionally seals, is particularly advantageous.

Applications

Repair sleeves are used wherever subsequent sealing or mechanical reinforcement is required, for example for:

• damaged cable sheaths indoors and outdoors
• cracks or chafe marks on protective sleeves
• repairs of insulation on machines and systems
