PTFE-FEP dual-wall heat-shrink tubing

Our dual-wall heat-shrink tubing made of PTFE with an FEP inlay offers effective protection against aggressive media and high temperatures. We use it specifically where ends are to be sealed against media or watertight connections are to be made, as well as where the object to be covered must be permanently sealed against environmental influences and an air- and moisture-tight encapsulation is to be achieved.

It is called dual-wall heat-shrink tubing because it consists of two tubes assembled one inside the other. The outer PTFE tube has a higher temperature resistance than the inner FEP tube. Since the inner FEP layer liquefies completely, the covered object is permanently and tightly sealed. The thermoplastic fluoropolymer is permanently temperature-resistant and also resistant to chemicals. It copes with continuous operating temperatures from -67 °C to +205 °C and is non-flammable. The shrink temperature is 327 °C.
