Kynar heat-shrink tubing – protection in aggressive environments

Thin-wall heat-shrink tubing made of PVDF (Kynar*) is used in demanding applications that require protection of components in aggressive environments in the electronics, automotive and aviation industries. In addition to its chemical resistance, properties such as flame retardancy, excellent abrasion resistance and cut resistance make PVDF a perfect material for demanding tasks.

PVDF (Kynar) heat-shrink tubing, typically with a shrink ratio of 2:1, has a continuous operating temperature of -55 °C to 175 °C.

The standard colour of this heat-shrink tubing is transparent, making it suitable for visual inspection of the applications.
