Halogen-free heat-shrink tubing
17 September 2025

In short: halogen-free heat-shrink tubing develops significantly less smoke and no corrosive halogen acids in the event of fire. This protects human lives and electronics – especially in public buildings, transport, data centres and industry. But it also makes sense to consider halogen-free insulation for other applications such as electronic devices.
Products containing halogens release corrosive gases in the event of fire which, in combination with moisture, can form hydrochloric acid. As an electrically conductive substance, hydrochloric acid can cause short circuits and destroy equipment.
Therefore rely on our halogen-free heat-shrink tubing:
BP 105 – halogen-free heat-shrink tubing made of polyolefin – black and transparent
BP 125 – halogen-free heat-shrink tubing made of polyolefin – black and coloured.
BP 135 GE/GR – halogen-free heat-shrink tubing made of polyolefin – green-yellow.
